The E-DISCOVERY platform for document discovery
One platform to search, review and produce digital evidence — mailboxes, documents, scans, recordings and disk images. The interface is Hebrew and English and the evidence can be in any common language, every action recorded, and the material held securely in Israel.
The problem
A single matter can arrive as tens of thousands of items. Three things make reviewing it hard.
Volume
Whole mailboxes, PST archives, disks and scans. Reading everything by hand is not possible, and sampling does not produce an answer you can stand behind.
Hebrew
Systems built for English struggle with Hebrew: spelling variants, prefixed particles, mixed direction inside one sentence, and Hebrew filenames.
Accountability
At the end you must know who saw what and when, and be able to show the material was not altered. People's memory and a shared folder are not evidence of that.
How it works
Three stages, from raw material to production.
- SourcesEmail, cloud included — Outlook and Gmail · Computer and phone files, WhatsApp messages included · Document scans · Recordings · Any digital media
- Prepare & indexextraction, OCR, duplicates
- Reviewsearch, tags, comments
- Producenumbering, export, report
Preparation and indexing
Messages and attachments extracted from PST, OST and MBOX, OCR for scanned documents, and duplicate detection. Every item gets a permanent identity, and the source evidence is left untouched.
Review
Search across several sources at once, with hits highlighted inside the document itself. Tags, status and comments per item — several reviewers at the same time, without overwriting each other.
Production
Export only what was selected, with sequential production numbering, a load file and reports in Hebrew or English. Every export is recorded: what left, when, and by whom.
Capabilities
What the platform does on an ordinary working day.
Search that understands Hebrew
Phrases, proximity, boolean and wildcards — with the hit highlighted inside the original document, not only in a results list.
Evidence in any language
The interface is Hebrew and English, and the evidence itself can be in any common language — every Latin-script language, and Arabic and Persian too — with search, highlighting and mixed direction inside a single document.
Mail and attachments as families
A message and its attachments stay linked, and each one is an item that can be tagged, numbered and produced on its own.
OCR for scans
Scanned documents and images become searchable text, Hebrew included — so a scan does not quietly fall out of every search.
Transcription and recording analysis
Recordings are transcribed in Hebrew and English, and the transcript goes into the index — so you can search inside a recording, tag a passage and produce it like any other document.
Multi-reviewer workflow
Tags, statuses and comments per reviewer. Comments accumulate rather than being overwritten, so you can see who said what.
Production and export
Production numbering, Excel exports and PDF reports that render Hebrew correctly — in a form you can hand to the other side or to the court.
Matters and permissions
A matter per case, users and roles per matter, and full separation between matters — including physical separation where that is required.
The platform in under two minutes
Email, documents and WhatsApp messages, from raw material to production: what review looks like when everything is in one place.
Evidence held securely, in Israel
The most sensitive material in a matter does not have to travel to a server abroad in order to be reviewed. That is the main difference between this platform and cloud e-discovery services.
- The evidence is held in Israel. In Tictac's own private data centre, secured physically and logically to the highest professional standard — not in a foreign provider's cloud, and under Israeli law.
- Backed up continuously, at alternate sites. A matter does not depend on one server, and a hardware fault is not an evidence-loss event.
- Access only for those assigned to the matter. Through a gateway with two-factor authentication, and by role.
- Every touch is recorded. Views, opens, downloads, tags and exports — with the user and the time.
- Privilege is preserved. The material is not handed to a third-party provider abroad, and does not depend on a foreign company's policy.
Security and control
What lets you answer “who saw this, and when?” without relying on memory.
Complete audit trail
Every view, open, download, tag, comment and export is recorded, with the user and the time.
Role-based permissions
Reviewer, matter manager and read-only. The permission is checked on the server for every action, not only in the menu.
Gateway with 2FA
Access from outside the organisation passes through a separate gateway with two-factor authentication, leading only to the assigned matter.
Evidence held securely in Israel
Evidence is kept in Tictac’s private data center in Israel, with secured backups at a separate facility — both secured physically and logically, monitored 24/7. On request, the data can also be kept on-premises, at the client’s site.
Professional services
The platform is the core, but a matter neither begins nor ends there. We support what surrounds it too.
Collection and extraction
Taking in material from different sources — mailboxes, endpoints, removable media — and building the matter set.
Data preparation
Extraction from archives, OCR, duplicate handling and preparation for indexing, so review starts from clean material.
Installation and rollout
Installation in your environment, setting up matters, users and permissions, and training for the review team.
Support through the matter
Available for questions during review, help building complex queries, and support through the production stage.
24/7 local support
Local support 24/7 — in your time zone, in your language, from people who know your matter. Not an overseas call centre and not a ticket waiting for a reply.
Competitive pricing
Competitive against comparable e-discovery platforms elsewhere in the world, without paying for foreign cloud infrastructure you do not need.
Who we are
Tictac Technologies Ltd. has worked in data recovery, computer and phone forensics and document discovery since 1995. Thousands of clients come to us every year — government ministries, law enforcement authorities, the Israel Police, courts, technology companies, banks, hospitals, universities and law firms.
The company is led by Yoav Silberstein, a law graduate and a court-appointed expert in data recovery and computer forensics, with thirty years of experience in the field. The team is made up of computer experts, programmers and specialists in information security, encryption and networks — most of them from technology units of the IDF and the security services.
The work is done in the company's own laboratories, secured physically and logically around the clock, and in data centres we own. The company is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and holds security clearance appropriate to the kinds of work it performs.
The document discovery platform was built by us, on experience accumulated across thousands of computer investigations. The people who recover data from a damaged disk or a locked phone are the people who built the tool it is reviewed in — and the people who support your matter.
