Cookie policy
Last updated: September 2026
This site sets no cookies. None of ours, and none belonging to anyone else. It carries no analytics, no social media pixels, no fonts or scripts loaded from an external server, and nothing that follows you between sites.
Why there is no consent banner
The law requires consent before non-essential cookies are set. There are no cookies here at all, so there is nothing to consent to. A banner asking permission for something that does not exist adds no protection — it only trains people to click “accept” without reading.
What is kept instead
- Server access logs. As on any web server, the hosting company records an IP address, a time, the page requested and the browser type. This is used for security and for finding faults, and is not tied to anyone's identity.
- A short-lived marker for the contact form. To prevent automated submissions, the server notes for one minute that an enquiry came from a given address. The marker lives on the server and is based on a hash of the address — it is not a cookie and nothing is written in your browser.
- Your accessibility preferences. If you change the text size or turn on high contrast in the accessibility menu, that choice is kept in your own browser's local storage. It is sent nowhere, it never reaches us, and clearing your browsing data removes it.
If that changes
If something that sets cookies is ever added to this site, this page will be updated before it happens and a real consent request will appear — one that can be refused.
